Quality Control

The quality produced in a data conversion project is critical to the success of the project. Datronics focuses on providing services that match quality assurance techniques to the requirement of the project.

A variety of techniques are used to achieve the required accuracy levels in a project, depending on the nature of the input. For keyed material, all data is key entered and 100% key verified. Data entry operators are paid on an incentive basis that rewards work without errors and constant feedback is employed to help prevent systematic misunderstanding among coders or keyers. All SGML data must pass a validation phase without error before being delivered to the Client.

We have a team of data entry operators with many years of experience in data capture. This results in your data being keyed accurately and in a timely manner. With our data entry team you can rest assured you will receive the most accurate and complete data capture possible.

We will key and key verify your information to assure its accuracy. This entails one team of data entry operators entering the data. Then, a second team of data entry operators verifying the keyed in data again over the first team's data. This proven process provides you with a very clean and accurate snapshot of the original data.

System Specifications

Datronics uses UNIX system running on BSD 4.0 and a PC based Client/Server System running Windows 98, 2000 and NT 4.0 operating systems. The UNIX system employs 15 key stations and the Windows system has 15 data entry stations. Additionally we have 8 imaging stations, high speed color and bitonal printers, standards laser printers, tape drives systems, CD-R/RW, and high speed communications modems. Our media equiptment includes a Fujitsu bifocal scanner, a Xerox grayscale scanner and a Microtek color scanner.
